Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Oil

As you already know, Moroccan oil (also known as argan oil) is a huge trend when it comes to hair care. Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, endemic to Morocco, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. The tree is extremely well adapted to drought and other environmentally harsh conditions of southwestern Morocco. The women of Morocco have been using it as skin and hair care for centuries.
Products based upon argan oil are usually expensive which doesn’t mean they’re always good. I’ve spent a lot of money for many “high quality” Moroccan oil products and after a couple of usages, I was very disappointed – they were too greasy and sticky for me. As I have a naturally curly, thick black hair, hard to style, I need a good oil-based product to help me fight the humidity, reduce frizzieness, nourish my hair and add some shine, not just make my hair look greasy.
A couple of weeks ago Avon launched a new product inside the Advance Techniques hair-line – Moroccan Oil*. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now, applying it on the tips of my wet hair before drying and styling it. Till now, I’ve been very satisfied – you need just a little bit of the product to cover the hair-tips (a pea size amount), hair is easy to style, it doesn’t get frizzy and curly because of high humidity and rain (and we’ve had a couple of very rainy days recently) and it looks shiny and silky. It’s also great on the beach – after swimming and a short beach shower, just put a small amount on your hand and apply it all over your hair – it will dry in the wind and sun, helping you to comb your hair easier.
